Every time that I go to the store now I make sure he is not there, other wise I will not take a step into the business.
I had an awful experience at NTY. I went in their storefront one day to sell a significant amount of my clothing when the owner approached me. Due to that fact that I was simply talking to the employee that was executing my exchange, I was confused as to why he was even approaching me in the first place. I soon realized why. He tapped me on the shoulder and exclaimed, "Step AWAY from the counter and let the girls who are doing your exchange work." Obviously baffled by the fact that a store own just yelled at me, a paying customer, was just told to "step away from the counter," I walked away.
I did not have a good experience. I called the store before I came in to see what it was about. I asked them questions such as if they are selling right now , what they are looking for , what the clothes had to be in upon return and other basic questions. They specifically told me they were purchasing used clothes within 2 years of me buying them, if they were gently used. They mentioned that I could only bring up 20-30 items so it would be fair for other customers to get also get money for their clothes as well. I told the girl okay, I will be there shortly and that I'm looking to sell. I get there about 45 mins later . It's a half hour dive for me to get there, for them to tell me that they can only give me a store credit. It was really upsetting to me because I just called and asked and nothing was ever said about store credit for my clothes. I purposely called to get the information so I wouldn't be wasting my time and that is exactly what NTY clothing exchange did. I will never be back or even refer any friends for family this place.
